Our Mission

St. Anselm’s mission is to partner with families to form students who think with depth, believe with courage and serve with compassion.

We plan to open in Cardiff in September 2026. Initially this will be for Reception to Year 3 and then we will grow until we are an all-through school from Reception to Upper 6th.

We believe that the best way to achieve this aim is to provide our pupils with a Christian, classical education.

Saint Anselm of Canterbury, after whom we are named, defined theology as "fides quaerens intellectum” or “faith seeking understanding." We wish to define education that way.

We are proud to be a founding member of the Fellowship for Classical Learning.
