Bursaries And Financial Aid

Our Bursary Fund

Our means-tested bursaries are known as Canterbury Awards where St Anselm was Archbishop.

These awards offer fully or partially funded places at St Anselm’s - from 1%-100% subject to circumstances.

HOW TO APPLY

Canterbury Awards are available for entry to any year group at the start of each academic year.

Families interested in applying for a Canterbury Award should complete our Canterbury Award Registration Form and return it via email to the Admissions Department. There is no fee to pay at the point you initially register, and admissions/acceptance fees and deposits will be pro-rated in line with any financial award offered. More details are available in our fees section.

We strongly encourage families who are considering applying for a Canterbury Award to contact the Admissions Department (admissions@stanselmscardiff.co.uk) well in advance of the 1st July 2025. This will enable our team to support you through your Canterbury Award application, make you aware of additional steps in this process, and give you the greatest chance of being considered for the funds available.

Key Dates

We are currently accepting applications for September 2026. Applications must be fully submitted by 1st July 2025.

Applications for Canterbury Awards made after the published deadlines will not be considered.
