Newsletter #6 - An Update

Over the course of the evening we heard a bit more about the purpose of education and distinctive principals of classical education from Jonny Porter and Sarah-Jane Bentley respectively. We look forward to being able to share more on this with you over the coming months.

Jamie Burns then shared an overview of what the priorities are for the next year. One of our key strategies moving forward is to establish what we are informally calling St Anselm's Leaders. The vision here is to have dedicated couples in every church across Cardiff who will serve as advocates for St Anselm's.

These leaders may help by organising one or two events each year where our team can connect with potentially interested parents. They could start a Christian education book club. Perhaps they meet with people in their church to pray on a regular basis. By building these local networks, we aim to strengthen our ties within the Christian community in Cardiff and ensure that more families are aware of the unique education we are going to offer.

Regarding our facilities, we are actively seeking a purpose-built option (for example an old school building or Sunday School building) that could serve our long-term vision. We would greatly appreciate any suggestions or leads on potential properties that could help us create the ideal environment for our pupils.

Finally, we want to address our fundraising efforts. To bring our vision to life, we need to raise £300,000 over the next two years before we can open our doors. Your generous support will be crucial in achieving this goal. Details on how to donate can be found at this link and please know that every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on the future of our school.
